I have gotten more comfortable on this platform so I might as well tell my story

Hi. My name is Austin. And as of right now, I’m a teenager. I grew up in Rock Hill and grew up in a struggling household. My parents were struggling financially because some asshole at my dad’s company who was his business partner spent 2 million fucking dollars on a tractor trailer. I’m not sure why my dad was unable to sue him but he lost everything. This impacted the family. When I was 3 years old, my mom had to move in to my grandparents house until she could get back on her feet and as for my dad, he had to live at his mom’s house and sleep in his car. They are doing much better now and my dad has his old company back and a job at an airport. And my mom Teaches preschoolers with disabilities.

I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters

I was raised in a Christian household where the only thing we could watch was VeggieTales and some other shitty Christian shows.

My grandparents were the only ones that had cable and sadly they didn’t let me watch SpongeBob.

As I got older, I had more access to the internet and I decided to discover adult animation. The Simpsons and Family Guy were the first adult animated shows I was exposed to. Later on I would find out about South Park and Rick and Morty.

When I turned 12, I stumbled upon Animaniacs when I was scrolling through YouTube. Thankfully I discovered the 1993 series first. And the first exposure too it was when I stumbled on a clip of the Wakko’s America song. At the time, I had no idea what the hell was going on because I didn’t know who these characters were. I never watched this show in front of anyone or mentioned it to anyone especially to my parents because it had at LOT of adult humor for a kids cartoon. And I thought I would get in trouble for some reason.

Life went on until I turned 13 years old.

I was in a very dark place in my 7th grade year. I made one little mistake that comes with growing up as a teenager. The majority of the school year was a living hell because people wouldn’t stop talking about it. It gave me a lot of mental health issues. I was not in a good point in my life.

Later on as life went on and things kept getting worse, I found this site. Newgrounds. When I found this site, I was wondering what it was. Did god show me the answer to all of my problems? Did he lead me to a community with people who care about me? And that is what exactly what the good lord did. A month after joining, I became a supporter and it changed my life. I found a community who cared about me. I found a community who gave me a reason to live another day. I found a community for me.

I found a community for Everything by Everyone.

And here I am.

I became a cartoonist and learned and grew from everyone.

And I enjoy every single day to the full Because I know when I get home from school, there is this website that I’m gonna hop on for the rest of my life

9/11/2024:

I joined Newgrounds on a very controversial date

9/20/2024

The World is introduced to my Elliot my oc. But his name was originally Mint the Cat at the time but due to a similarly named and colored sonic oc, I changed the name to Elliot. (Fun fact, His Full name is Ellitione Geral Clawtorian. His nickname is Elliot and he goes by that name)

And I dumps some old shitty animations I made earlier and some reason at one point one of them got enough views to appear on the best new games and movies section of Newgrounds which was absolutely fucking wild.

Not much happened in September so let’s go to

OCTOBER

I didn’t participate in OCtober this year because my OC was in development hell at the time (and he still is). So I didn’t do anything crazy. Through OCtober, I met @SomeDoodles and I liked her art and even got inspired by her art style. Hell, I even drew her OC in my art style as a gift to her (I didn’t like how it turned out though).

Around the beginning October or it might have been in September, @Kolumbo was opening up applications for another Newgrounds TV marathon and I was really what to join because I thought it could be a good learning experience for me as a beginner animator. But unfortunately, Kolumbo rejected me. I’m still pissed off about that since it was the last NGTV special and I wanted to be apart of it but you never know, maybe Kolumbo will change his mind and host another one in the summer.

Also I was very active in the BBS this month

Lets move on to

(NO NUT) NOVEMBER

My god I was wild in the bbs. I was very active that month. I regretted a lot of topics that I made in the BBS like warning people about using a certain curse word to a point where someone thought I was trying to rub their religious beliefs on them which I wasn’t. I simply don’t want anyone to burn for all eternity. I love you guys. (not in a weird way… I hope you all know that for the dirty minded) (the post was deleted by a mod so i don’t remember exactly what happened). So after I got ratioed in the BBS, I made another post talking about the ICBM missle and it hitting America if we don’t stop helping Ukraine. And a mod banned me for 10 days for that and they thought I was talking about politics. I didn’t think that was considered political and I’m not really educated on politics so I would know anyway. So I cried about it in a news post and DoctorStrongbad saw my post and sympathized with me because he is currently banned from the BBS for 10 years and to this day he is still banned.

Well November was…..not my best month in 2024 so let’s move on to the final month

DECEMBER

I started off the month strong. I was on my best behavior in the bbs and I didn’t post anything controversial! (That I know of).

I even got scouted in the Audio portal this month! And I was so happy when that happened…..I scouted 8 people and never went into the audio portal again.

Later on in the month I redesigned my oc

And I dropped another song that doesn’t sound goofy

Merry Christmas everyone. As you have seen, I’ve been very active in the BBS and not active in the art portal. That’s because some artists have looked down on me because of how I draw. So I decided to drop an art piece telling those artists who told me I don’t know anything about the basics, I don’t care. It’s my style. Deal with it.

I’m also working on some animation projects to try and practice animation more and lock in a little bit into the art form because I love animation and I want to be a professional animator when I grow up. Even though as of right now it’s not very profitable as it used to be due to big corporations treating the animators like shit, It looks like a fun little venture and I would love to try and get better at it

Merry Christmas!

at 3 am in the morning, I decided to redesign Elliot because I felt like he looked too similar to Bubsy the Bobcat (if you don’t know who that character is, do it and play through its horrible games). Hopefully people will be able to recognize my character through its silhouette. If not then oh well it’s my character not yours I’ll do whatever the fuck I want with it.
