Over the months I’ve been here, I’ve been contributing art here. OF THE EXACT SAME THING.

People are fed up with me drawing nearly the exact same thing all the time.

Everet this. Everet that.

But still the same basic ass poses.

Even someone in the forums said “my eyes are burning from looking at the character all the time”

And the worst part is, yeah I’ve been improving art style wise, but there are little to no expressive poses done with my character. I have been experimenting with that but clearly I need to do more with that overtime.

I also need to start drawing other characters or making other ocs because it’s to the point where I’m basically shoving Everet down peoples throats.

And yet you all still keep coming back for more even though I’ve been basically feeding you the near of exact same stuff.

Thats not right as an artist for me to do that to you all.

I should be obligated to give you all something new and/or try something new with my stuff.

And before you say “oh don’t listen to people in the forums”.

They are better than me in every single way when it comes to art. So clearly I haven’t been listening to them enough. Especially when it comes to poses. And I know they’re gonna see this and react with a sleeping emoji basically telling me that I suck and that I’m not improving and that im whining like a little bitch.

So I’m taking a break for my own sanity and so I can take some time to improve.

And the next time I post again in the art portal, I don’t know if I will improve in the eyes of the professionals. Sure maybe I’ll start making decent poses but that’s up to them and everyone following me.

Hello everyone. I'm currently streaming myself actually animating my cartoon for about 50 ish minutes.

I finally have ideas for what it needs to be.

I have no storyboard. I have no script. Just my imagination.

That's why I haven't shown any progress updates and I've been dumping art. Because I've been trying to think.

Wassup everyone! Recently I bought Clip Studio Paint EX for my birthday. And I am loving it so far!

I even drew these drawings in it.

From now on, my work will be made in CSP which is a huge upgrade from Flash.

I now have a Twitter account because Bluesky is dead. I’ve actually had this account for a while but just never used it. Tomorrow I start high school. Meaning I basically enter the final stages of hell. I had a lot of fun on newgrounds during the summer and I saw myself engage with the community a lot more. I've achieved a lot of things during the summer too.

1. I got my first solo front page
2. I've improved my art style
3. And I'm slowly getting better at animation
4. Get noticed by @TomFulp
5. And I've gotten stronger mentally and physically

I'm very grateful for all the support you've given me when I was in my final days of middle school and during the summer. This has given me the motivation to improve my craft and keep going as an amateur artist and animator.

Newgrounds is probably the only site I have felt like I belong here and I will continue to support this site financially with supporter status.

Oh yeah and I'm restarting my cartoon so I can produce it in clip studio paint due to limitations with flash (mainly how the programs render pngs.

With the Help of @UnculturedMutt I now have a new color pallet for Everet

You will notice his fur is a lot darker to give it a more natural feel

Will be using this color scheme in the future

Birthday Presents

First things first I got a (please don’t kill me) Nintendo Switch 2 for my birthday.

I don’t care what everyone says I’ll still buy it even though I’ve criticized it a lot. I just want to play Nintendo games and other 3rd party games at a higher resolution.

And the screen is kind of a downgrade from the switch OLED but at the same time, the hdr (for the screen itself at least) is pretty nice

(And no I’m not spending money on $80 video games)

I did try out Mario paint on there and I drew my character Everet on there and trust me when I say it was DIFFICULT.

Other Updates

You guys are probably wondering about the progress of my upcoming cartoon Everet: The Stars are Alive. I’m still away from home with my grandparents and I’m using (some) time to think about ideas and what not. And I could really use some help with writing, storyboarding and additional animation since I start high school on August 7th. So if you can help with that, shoot me a PM.

Hooray I’m 15.

An age I always wanted to be.

I finally have a chance to grow up and stop old habits and make art and cartoons for you guys.

Thank you for putting up with me when I was 14!

This summer I’ve been trying hard to work on my cartoon and try to get better through doing at that and I forgot another thing I should be doing, getting better at art.

I’ve been trying hard to draw on paper and form out poses when I’m away from my computer but when I try, it ends up weird and off model. And I’ve trying to get away from making stiff poses and study other people’s art and try to image a pose in my head and put on paper, but it never turns out right.

Giving up won’t solve anything. So I’ll have to keep trying. My goal is by the end of 2025, I’ll finally have a refined art style. Because stuff like this doesn't happen over night.

I’ve been taking a 3 day hiatus from working on it because I’ve been getting burnt out from it a lot due to me trying to hard to make it look good. And the constant procrastination. But I’m back to work today! I really hope I can get it out this year so you all can finally see my character Everet in animated form.

Also I plan on making it 3-5 minutes.

July 26th is my birthday so my PMs are open if you wanna wish me a happy birthday on that day.
